How does Starmony work?

Starmony is both a music creation app and a record company.

We have added music productions into our app by building a network of professional music producers, who thereby can leverage previously unreleased materials or new creations. The producers export music productions in small blocks into our system, ultimately providing the base for our AI-powered music creation tool. 

Our users (anyone, anywhere!) who enjoys singing or rapping, can use Starmony as their free, portable music studio on their mobile phones. When an app user starts a recording, the unique Starmony technology—our secret sauce—will instantly analyze it, create the music and eventually mix the song. In just a few seconds, the user will then get to choose between multiple full music productions fitted to their vocals. 

When the user is ready to become a releasing artist, they just need to click the release button, and the Starmony app expands from being “just” a music studio — it is also a record company. The worldwide release becomes available on all major music streaming services, such as Spotify, Youtube and Apple music.

The music sharing component, in combination with music rights, is what generates royalties to Starmony, the artist and the music producer — it’s a win/win!
