What is a Premium Release?
A Premium Release is a song that Starmony has chosen to release with extra enhancements, such as a custom cover art just for you, and professional mixing and mastering.
How can I get a Premium Release?
We provide the Premium Release for songs that go the extra mile in creativity and quality. A Premium Release is not guaranteed for every song, but fulfilling our Release Policy and making sure that your song sounds as good as possible increases the chance to get the Premium Release.
What happens after you get a Premium Release?
A professional mixing and mastering engineer will treat your song and give the final polishes to make sure it reaches its full potential. We will also meticulously enter the accurate metadata information to make sure all the song’s creators are credited appropriately. After that, we will distribute it to streaming platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and more! We might even be able to help out with marketing the track, such as playlist pushing or social media posts.
How long does the Premium Release distribution process take?
It takes around 4 weeks. This is because of the more advanced mixing and mastering process to enhance your song’s final quality. We will let you know through email once your song is live on streaming platforms.
What should I do when my song has been chosen for Premium Release?
Please reply to the release confirmation email that we send you with a picture (.jpg or .png file) that you want us to use for your custom cover art. You can also let us know what kind of graphics you want on the cover art. To make it easier, you can go to this website and tell us which cover art has the style/vibe that you like.
How are the royalties shared?
When you decide to release and publish your music, we implement a 50/50 share between Starmony and the creators on all royalties that will be generated by the song. As the creators’ share is 50%, that means you as an artist will receive 25%, and the music producer will also receive 25%. To read more about royalty shares, click here.
