How does the Standard Release work?

What happens when your song is accepted for Standard Release?

We will master your song and give the final polishes to make sure your song reaches its full potential. We will also meticulously enter the accurate metadata information to make sure all the song’s creators are credited appropriately. After that, we will distribute it to streaming platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and more! 

How long does the distribution process take?

It takes around 2 weeks. We will let you know through email once your song is live on streaming platforms. 

What should I do?

Nothing! Leave the rest of the work to us, and watch your music take its place in the world! 

How are the royalties shared?

When you decide to release and publish your music, we implement a 50/50 share between Starmony and the creators on all royalties that will be generated by the song. As the creators’ share is 50%, that means you as an artist will receive 25%, and the music producer will also receive 25%. To read more about royalty shares, click here.
